108 Blue Star ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by NMF Consulting & Veratusk, LLC, located at 108 Blue Star, San Antonio, TX 78204. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through 108bluestar.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry, book the venue, buy a ticket, RSVP, join our mailing list, apply to perform or partner with us, or contact us, we may collect:

Your name, email address, phone number, and organization.
Event details, such as date, guest count, event type, budget, and special requests.
Billing information. Card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Portfolio links, bios, or proposals if you are an artist, vendor, or partner.
Anything else you choose to include in a message to us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, approximate location, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Information from others. We may receive information from ticketing platforms, event partners, or people who refer you or book an event on your behalf.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

Respond to inquiries and provide proposals, contracts, and invoices.
Process bookings, deposits, ticket purchases, and refunds.
Plan and run events, including coordinating with vendors and partners you've selected.
Send transactional messages about your booking or ticket.
Send newsletters and event announcements if you've opted in.
Understand how the Site is used and improve it, our programming, and our marketing.
Protect the safety and security of our guests, venue, and Site.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as follows:

Service providers that help us operate, such as payment processors, ticketing platforms, Dubsado (our client management, booking, and email tool), web hosting, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
Event partners and vendors (for example, caterers, rental companies, AV technicians, or performers) when needed to deliver an event you booked or attend.
Our business partners who help manage, program, and market the venue, and the owners of the Blue Star property, where needed for venue operations, safety, or insurance.
Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our guests, or others.
Business transfers, if the venue's operation is transferred, merged, or sold, in which case your information may transfer to the new operator subject to this Policy.
With your consent or at your direction.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure Site traffic, and understand which marketing reaches people. We may use tools such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels from platforms like Meta or Google. These providers may collect information about your activity across websites to show you relevant ads. Some state laws treat this as "targeted advertising" or "sharing."

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

5. Emails and text messages

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message. If you opt in to text messages, message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. We will still send transactional messages about bookings or tickets you've purchased.

6. Photography and video at events

We and our partners may photograph or record public events at the venue and use that content on the Site, social media, and promotional materials. See our Terms and Conditions for details. If you'd like an image of you removed from our channels, contact us at 108bluestar@gmail.com and we will make reasonable efforts to do so. Photos taken at private events are not used for promotion without the client's permission.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, and insurance requirements. Booking and payment records are generally kept for seven years. Mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have the right to:

Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete information you provided or that we obtained about you.
Get a portable copy of your information.
Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or profiling that produces significant effects.

To exercise these rights, email 108bluestar@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before responding and reply within 45 days, as allowed by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. Family programming registrations must be completed by a parent or guardian.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites, including Blue Star tenants, partners, ticketing platforms, and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required.
